A megatsunami may soon strike Hawaii with devastating consequences

Geologists at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa recently predicted that there is a one-in-11 chance that a magnitude-9-or-greater earthquake will hit the Aleutian islands in the next 50 years. This catastrophic quake, the geologists say, will then trigger a megatsunami that could devastate Hawaii.
